Let's be honest.

Do you ever get the feeling that there is something holding you back, but you don't know what it is?
Well that seems to be the case with me.

Every time I try to talk to someone, something always prevents me from doing it.
Is it too much to ask? No. It's not.

Now, I'm not saying I'm mute or have no contact with people, I'm saying whenever I try to have a good conversation with someone, something gets in my way. And a lot of times, It's the someone.

People and their excuses or long stories.

I'm going to tell you right now that
I'm the kind of guy that likes people who are honest and straightforward with me. If you lie to me to make me feel better, or to spare me pain, your just hurting me more. Be honest with me with things like "I don't want to talk to you right now." instead of saying "I'm really busy."
I HATE that.
Especially when I know your lying.

The person I respect the most is the one who will tell me what they are REALLY thinking.
Even telling me something that would hurt my feelings would feel a lot better than a nice thing that's fake.

Oh, and by the way, when I try to make a conversation, try to respond. That really helps a conversation out when 2 people are talking instead of just me.

Sometimes I just need someone to talk to. Can you blame me?

Stop giving excuses.

I decided to rant today because I felt like it, and I have for some time.
The combination of every single person one on top of the other, saying stupid excuses and not responding, has brought me here. To the point of words on a screen.

My point is, If you don't want to hang out, say, "I don't want to hang out." If you don't want to talk, say, "I don't want to talk. See? That wasn't so hard now was it? You could even go further and give me a reason why you don't, and I'd respect you even more.

HONESTY is #1 on my Christmas list. I hope people give me some this year.
